 All staff across Progressive have now completed Training with Pride’s Respectful Restrictive Engagement (RRE) programme, an accredited course certified under the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) and BILD ACT standards.

This training ensures that:

• Staff are confident in using trauma-informed and least-restrictive approaches to support young people.
   
• De-escalation skills are prioritised to prevent crisis situations and promote safe, respectful interactions.
   
• Any restrictive interventions are used only as a last resort, with dignity and safeguarding at the centre of practice.
   
• The organisation remains compliant with regulatory expectations and sector best practice.
   
• Training delivery included theory, reflective practice, and practical skill-building, adapted to the needs of supported accommodation settings.
