Insightful Takeaways from the National Children's Bureau Conference!
Excited to share our experience from the National Children’s Bureau Conference where our Director Chad Brown and staff team attended, listening to enriching discussions/talks led by Conference Chair Rachel Race (DFE), Caroline Cody (Deputy Director for Social Care - NCB), and keynote speech from Matthew Brazier (Project Director for Supported Accommodation - OFSTED).
The team also participated in a Quality Assurance Workshop and engaged in a profound conversation about trauma in UASC Young People, thanks to the UK Trauma Council.
Aisling highlighted the immense value of both sessions, noting how they uncovered incredible resources for UASC, which Progressive plan to integrate into our ASDAN for our Young People and staff. 📚💡
Below is a resource from the UK Trauma Council, utilising evidence-based approaches to support children and young people affected by war, migration, and asylum, along with the professionals assisting them in educational and community settings. These resources are co-produced with young people with lived experiences and their supporters.
